What is an Empath?
Empaths are people with a heightened sense of empathy or feelings of the emotions of others. These people often have difficulty regulating their own emotions and can find it difficult to distinguish between their own feelings and those of others. Empaths are sometimes said to be “touching” or “sensitive” because they are so attuned to the emotional states of others. They can benefit from relationships because they can understand another person’s perspective and feel their emotions.
Imagine walking into a room and knowing exactly how everyone in it feels. For empaths, this is a regular occurrence. Empaths are people with a heightened sense of empathy or feelings of the emotions of others. They often absorb the emotions of those around them to the point where they can’t tell which emotions are their own and which are other people’s. This can be both a blessing and a curse, as empaths can often feel overwhelmed by the feelings of others. However, they can also bring light into dark situations and support those who need it.
