Now, on the bottom left corner of the check, you’ll see the signature line. This is where you’ll sign the check with your signature. This is crucial, as it’s your legal authorization to pay the amount on the check.

Finally, on the bottom right corner of the check, you’ll see a line for a memo. This is optional, but it’s a good idea to write a brief note about the purpose of the check. For example, if you’re writing a check for rent, you might write “rent for October” in the memo.
